We design against unhealthy dependency, encourage real relationships, and never manipulate grief.
What Sona is not
Sona is not a "resurrect the dead" app, not a replacement for a person, not a denial of grief, and not a deepfake tool. It is a consent-first way for living people to extend what they can do and preserve who they are, under their own control.

How preserving and passing on a twin works
Capturing the people you love begins as something for the living - a parent who is less alone, stories saved for grandchildren. If a twin is ever to be preserved or passed on, that happens only on terms the owner set in advance, with verification, time-gating, and family governance. The owner is always in charge of their own continuation. We never turn grief into a growth tactic.
